Storytime! I had another layover in Delhi, and I went to get my

Jyotish Chart done. Jyotish is from the ancient Sanskrit

word Jyotish, which means light, such as that of the sun, the moon, or a

Heavenly body. The term Jyotisha includes the study of astronomy,

astrology, and the science of timekeeping using the movements of

Astronomical bodies. It aimed to keep time, maintain calendars, and

Predict auspicious times for Vedic rituals. One of the flight attendants that I flew with said that it was more accurate than Western Astrology, so I was curious and fascinated at the same time.

My chart reading was very informative and as a student of Western astrology. He confirmed some of my analysis, and I'm glad he gave me some warnings and blessings. I

I can at least prevent them and help resolve and dissolve my karma. He said my

Jupiter (the planet of luck and abundance) is being hindered by my Saturn (karma, limitations, and lessons learned), which I already knew. Iwas advised not to wear the color black (the planetary color of Saturn) and instead wear the colors of Jupiter (yellow). He was pleased. I thought that was quite fascinating since that explains the colorful clothing of the people in India. They are really into this.

When I told him I Recently became a vegetarian. He seemed pleased. He said he saw a

warning that could affect my health and could lead to surgery. So, becoming a vegetarian was the right decision for me.

This Guru was full of wisdom. He gave me a bracelet and his blessings. My Jupiter is auspicious he said, but he warned me not to give out loans because they will never get repaid.

He also advised that I get a precious sapphire gemstone.

Jupiter rules the precious yellow gemstone, and according to Jyotish,

Astrologers. It's very lucky, and the favorite jewel of the British Royals.

However, not everyone can wear it. A sapphire is believed to be good for attracting abundance, blessings, and gifts, but it is also known to reverse someone's luck.

The jewel has been used to protect against negative energies, calm the mind, strengthen intuition and invite spiritual clarity.

It is a belief that if the gem doesn't "suit" you, it brings bad luck and troubles in one's life.

You first have to consult an experienced verdic astrologer and gemologist.

He also told me to purchase an emerald stone and wear it on my mercury finger to improve communications.
